EPA has issued new interim guides on “greener” products for purchasing by government agencies environmentally preferred purchasing (EPP) at

EPA is pushing it’s new Safer Choice products label under DfE and Energy Star, as well as USDA's "BioPreferred" label. Additionally, there are nods to several UL and Green Seal standards,a s well as EPEAT.
It covers Cafeteria. Grounds Landscaping. Construction Office. Custodial Operations/ Fleets/ Shipping and Shop Electronics categories. Others will be coming.
