Rather than focus on sustainability or green as an endpoint, wouldn't we be better off doing whatever it is we do sustainably or greenly? Sure there will continue to those niche markets and service providers of things that are green and more sustainable (alternate energy stuff). But the vast majority of people will be doing something else - making widgets and using widgets to accomplish some task. Rather than telling people what the "right" task or thing is, shouldn't we be making sure that whatever is done is done with life cycle thinking that avoids adverse consequences like inefficiently using energy and natural resources and causing risky exposures?

We need to think adverb, not noun or adjective.
"An adverb indicates manner, time, place, cause, or degree and answers questions such as "how," "when," "where," "how much"." http://bit.ly/JQQ3Z

We need people to be always thinking throughout their whole life cycle, whatever they are up to. Not just the what.

What term should we use?
"Greenly"
"Sustainably"
"LCTly"(life cycle thoughtfully) "Responsibly"
Other candidates?
