Bed, Bath & Beyond, Nordstrom and JC Penney have been fined for bamboozling customers with claims products are made from bamboo when the bamboo fibers have been chemically beat up and turned into rayon. Nothing green about the process. What's worse is that the Federal Trade Commission has previously slammed companies for these claims. Won't they learn? Maybe $1.3 million fines will help.
