With Republicans in control of the House and Senate and Senator Boxer (who was holding up the Senate version of TSCA reform) retiring at the end of the year, industry is feeling pretty optimistic that TSCA reform will actually happen in 2015.  Seems unlikely Obama will add TSCA Reform to his veto list. But neither Obama nor Boxer has anything to lose by opposing it to protect their "legacies, " so no promises.
Still plenty of details to work out on the drafts of the Vitter Senate and Shimkus House versions and whatever muscles the Republicans may want to flex that will irritate the NGOs (like the Regulatory Accountability Act that passed the House yesterday).

I'm still not holding my breath.
