ECHA has published the list of chemicals that companies said they were going to register under REACH by this November here.  Looks like ~4, 000 chemicals, mostly high volume.  Several that look to be naturally occurring and/or listed in Article IV as exempt like sucrose, but who knows?

That's less than half of what ECHA is predicting.  Although the number of SIEFs who will be doing the registrations is woefully behind - under 2,500.  ECHA claims no extension is necessary ....

Meanwhile Sen. Lautenberg is determined to out-reach REACH by tackling all US chemicals under his bill "Safe Chemicals Act of 2010."
