ECHA has released the first list of 91 chemicals proposed to be Evaluated by member countries under REACH.  Evaluation over the next 3 years may entail requests for additional information from registrants and result in recommendations for EU-wide classification and/or restrictions.  The list is here and looks a lot like Prop 65 –  PBTs, CMRs and endocrine disruptors; e.g.: silver, toluene, formaldehyde, nonylphenol, titanium dioxide, etc.  The final list is expected in February 2012.

It's called the Community Rolling Action Plan, or CoRAP, that will schedule evaluations on an annually updated list of registered chemicals that have been flagged as potential risks.

Registrants don't have to do anything yet, just keep watch and answer information requests, if any, and comment on proposed actions.

REACH work is never done.
