EPA has issued a final SNUR on the category of “glymes” listing 7 specific chemicals – down from the 14 that were originally published due to response to comments on the differing toxicity of the 7 dropped chemicals.  It pays to comment on proposed SNURs.

Specific “new” (including resumed uses) along with exemptions are listed for each chemical that would require a Significant New Use Notification (SNUN) for proposed activity.  The rule is retroactive to the date of proposal of July 12, 2011: "new" uses have to stop until a SNUN is reviewed (minimum 90 days).
