The House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed the TSCA Modernization Act of 2015 (only one vote against, no amendments allowed) June 23, 2015.  Next move is for the Senate which is rumored to be voting on its reform version S.697 Frank R. Lautenberg Chemical Safety for the 21st Century Act by August.  If that passes the Senate (not at all expected to be like the House), it's on to conference committee where somehow they will try to meld a 43 page modification by the House and a 179 page major rewrite by the Senate.

PS - Sen. Boxer now says she supports the House bill over the Senate bill.  Regardless, she's going to cause trouble on the Senate side.
