REACH registrations are pouring in to meet the November 30, 2010, deadline for chemicals over 1000 metric tonnes or carcinogens, mutagens, reproductive toxins over 1 tonne. Just over 8,500 registrations covering over 2,000 chemicals have been filed as of October 25: http://echa.europa.eu/doc/press/registration_stats_en.pdf
Companies voluntarily informed ECHA that they intend to report on a total of 4,742 chemicals by the November deadline, but no one knows how many separate registrations will finally come in.
