Life Cycle Thinking is about looking at the whole system and not just one particular aspect that you may be interested in. It’s thinking about the consequences of actions to others – upstream and downstream, short term and long term, intended and unintended. It's thinking about different kinds of consequences - good and bad, emotional and physical.

This new blog will capture my thoughts on the truth of consequences and the importance of life cycle thinking in our individual lives and as a society.

EHS Strategies, Inc. is focused on the management of environmental, health and safety (EHS) consequences of what humans do. Most of my posts will likely be around those issues, especially as they deal with the life cycle management of chemicals. In addition, I will also comment on ethical and social consequences of positions on EHS management.

I look forward to how this blog will evolve and invite comments on the thoughts posted here.
