ECHA is asking for consultation through September 23, 2013, on six likely additions to the REACH authorization list:

1. N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF)

2. Diazene-1,2-dicarboxamide (C,C'-azodi(formamide)) (ADCA)

3. Aluminosilicate Refractory Ceramic Fibres (Al-RCF)

4. Zirconia Aluminosilicate Refractory Ceramic Fibres (Zr-RCF)

5. Bis(pentabromophenyl) ether (decabromodiphenyl ether) (DecaBDE) 7/10/13 ECHA is moving forward on this, no more comments.  It will also show up on the POPs ban list.

6. 4-(1,1,3,3-tetramethylbutyl)phenol, ethoxylated (4-tert-Octylphenol ethoxylates) (4-tert-OPnEO)

The 5th prioritization of the Candidate List reviewing SVHC listed through the end of 2012 yielded the above for high priority listing here.  Check to see where you favorite chemicals fell in the prioritization scheme.  Nice to see several got a very low priority ranking.  ECHA is looking hard at the information submitted in dossiers to do evaluations.  Dossiers need to be accurate and kept up to date so as to not overstate exposure potentials.
